I ask "do you have or have had Hep C?"
If
so could you tell me what you know about this disease. I
done some research and totally nut up. I've never done IV
drugs, had no blood transfusions ( alot of surgery though
).
My
doctor picked it up on a routine physical. I've been in
a state of shock since March. I've finally come to some
sort of terms with the diagnosis. I am asymtomatic at the
moment.
I
did 3 months of Peg Intron and Riboviran. I've never felt
so bad in my life. I continued to work in a very physical
job, until I fell twice in on week because my knees felt
like jello. I developed a cough after about 2 months. That's
when they took me off them. I was responding liver
enzymes were normal. The viral load went back up after
discontinuing the drugs. As of today, I'm just putting
along waiting for a cure, or a treatment that has less side
effects.
