My name is W. I have been on treatment for 1 full
year. The first 6 months I was on interferon and the
meds did not bring the virus down. The Dr. changed
me over to the peginterferon and I have just completed 6
months on that. The virus load has not been touched.
I
am type 1a and my virus
load is greater than ONE MILLION.
Currently my Alt is at 26
and the AST is 39.
Before I started treatment my AST
was 179 and the ALT was 208.
Diagnosis
as of 2-2-01 per liver, biopsy is as follows:
Chronic active Hepatitis with Cirrhosis.
I
