Dear Lloyd:
                          I've
written you previously and you of course have always
responded in a timely fashion, so I can't go to sleep
tonight without sharing my news with you.
                          On
                            May 1, 2002, I was diagnosed with Hep C. I was shocked.
I had an abnormal mammogram and in the process of
further evaluation my internist had done a metabolic
panel and my liver enzymes were elevated.  We
did three separate sets of tests the first showed
high enzymes, the next set confirmed that they were
high, and the third was done as part of a hepatitis
                            screen.
                          The
                            results were as follows:

                              | Date | AST | ALT |

                              | My
                                  Viral Load is 2.8MM |

                          My
breast biopsy came back positive, although as it turns
out I'm very fortunate because it is noninvasive and
I have had surgery (lumpectomy) and will only require
radiation therapy, NO chemo. Yesterday, I met with
my oncologist for the first time.  He gave me
the good news about the breast cancer but was pushing
me to take tamoxefin after the radiation therapy and
I was very adamant about not wanting to take any unnecessary
medications until I got my arms around the Hep C.
                          I
explained to him and gave him a list of all of the
herbs I am taking. He's not a liver specialist, but
was a little put off by my concern over the tamoxefin
and we had a very frank conversation about how breasts
can be removed, livers are a requirement.  He
had second thoughts and suggested he do a metabolic
panel so we could see what my enzymes are.
                          Well,
you won't believe this but I just got the results
faxed over to me. Now understand that I only started
                            your program 6 weeks ago.
                          Check
                            this out:

                              | Date | AST | ALT |

                              | 7/15/02 | 45 | 23 |

                          I
wept when I saw those numbers, my husband, my daughter
and my friends wept too.  I cannot fairly measure
in words what you mean to me.  You represent
hope when there is none anywhere else in the world
for this disease.  You have a calling Lloyd,
and it must feel incredible to know why you are here.
                          I
have 6 weeks of radiation to get through, I will continue
my program through the therapy, and each day I will
thank God for giving to the rest of us an individual
with incredible strength, perseverance, love, and
courage.  I would like to fax to you copies of
all of these lab reports so that you have documentation
of my claims should any organization require such.
Please let me know where to send them.
                          Please
post my email, I know that there are lots of folks
out there needing to hear that your program works.
You can use my name, I don't care.

Good Health to all of you fellow "heppers", my thoughts
and prayers are with each and every one of you.
                          God
                            Bless
                            K. B.
