Subject: Information from the National Center for Complementary
and Alternative Medicine
Dear
L. J.
We
have received your e-mail regarding Lloyd Wright's book
on alternative treatments for Hepatitis C. Thank
you for sharing this information with us. The views
of the public regarding our research are very important
to us.
NCCAM's
mission is to explore complementary and alternative
healing practices in the context of rigorous science,
train complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) researchers,
and disseminate authoritative information to the public
and professionals.
Mr.
Wright's information will be made available to the staff
at NCCAM. NCCAM staff receive large volumes of
information from scientists and concerned individuals.
They are glad to consider new theories about CAM
and use this information according to their scientific
judgment. We hope you will understand, however,
that unless staff members have a question about the
information presented, their heavy workloads prevent
them from responding to each person who offers ideas.
Thank
you for your interest in NCCAM.
Sincerely
yours,
Terry Evans
