I am 32 yrs old. Married; husband virus free. Worked in the dental field for 15 years Hep C pos. Gave blood to find out that I have this.
My viral
load is 200,000 and ALT/AST slightly high. Biopsy shows mild fibrosis. Geneotype 1. I tried Interferon, Rivavirin and Amantadine on a clinical trial. Went into this with a very pos.
attitude to discover it was total Hell!!!!!! I could only do the tx. for about 2 months. Totally freaked out one night. I don't think I could ever try this again. I can't describe
how terrible it was. So now, after 6 months I take milk thistle(300mg a day). I don't know if this is helping or not. I went back for blood test to chk. viral load on 10-06-2000 it came
back 850,000 but my Dr. said they changed the way they count it or figure it now?? and he said my load is equiv. to 200,000, so he's saying it stayed the same.?. Please offer some advice on
what I should try except Rebetron. Open to any suggestions. My email address is (removed)
P.S. I'm not very familiar w/ computers, this is the first time I have
