I am an African man of 54 years of age. I was diagnosed of Hepatitis
C in January. Before that I did not know that I had this disease.
What led to this diagnosis was that my liver function left a lot
to be desired though I had no symptoms like tiredness and things
like that.
GOT was about 60 - whatever that means. The doctor was talking
of frightful costs and side effects of interferon. I was very scared.
