A FAQ : Baseball Under the Rib Syndrome
April 22, 2004

Dear Lloyd,

I first contacted you almost three years ago about my husband who had been diagnosed with HCV. Since then he did decide to go on PEG Interferon and Ribitrol that was in 2002.  Forty eight weeks later and of course you were right it didn't work!   It did nothing but destroy our lives to the point my husband has been out of work since. He is all natural now and still trying to get this poison out of his system!

My question to you is, everyone we know who has HCV (and the list is growing) all have this pain in the upper left quandrent right under the left ribcage. It does not seem to be a gender problem because I'm finding male and female have the same pain. Do you possibly know what this could be?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank You!
S. Y.

Hi S. Y.:

The base ball under the rib syndrome as it is called is a direct result of liver inflammation.   My clients are relieved of this in a few weeks for the most part.

Less often this is from the gallbladder.  A ultra sound will show if it is from the gallbladder.

After peg intron my success rate is lower than after Intron A.  Much more time is needed for organs to heal, for the body to recover from the devastating side effects of peg intron.

He needs dandelion root tea, 1 quart per day
Lipoic acid 300 mg 3 x day
Selenium 400 mcg per day from all sources
Milk thistle 400 mg 3 x day
Natcell thymus 1 vial every other day or TLM
Properly prepared aloe 4 oz three or more times a day Vitamin C to tolerance,
Ultra Absorbic C gets 90% into the blood, others less than 10%.
Vitamin B complex

There is more he can and should do, but this is a minimum for someone in his predicament.

In good health
Lloyd
